Recyclability
Specialist disposal: Engine and gear oils are widely collected for re-refining (R9, preferred route). Re-refined oil becomes base lubricant or transformer oil. Collection often free for clean oils

Handling: Hazardous — store in sealed containers, bunded area (110% of largest container). Never mix different oil types
