Accessibility statement
Accessibility statement for QWTN
This statement covers qwtn.co.uk, the QWTN web app, driver app and customer portal, run by WhealBit trading as QWTN. We want as many people as possible to be able to use it. You should be able to:
- zoom to 400% without text spilling off the screen, and use the app on a phone
- navigate every form and list with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator
- use most of the app with a screen reader, with labelled controls and headings
- read text and controls that meet WCAG AA contrast ratios
How accessible this service is
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We believe the service is partially compliant, because of the limitations below.
Known limitations
- Maps
- The collections map and route planner map are visual. Every stop, route order and arrival time shown on a map is also listed as text next to it.
- Drag and drop in the route planner
- Jobs can be dragged between drivers. The same actions are available without a mouse: move buttons on each job and a driver picker.
- Signatures
- Drawing a signature needs a pointer or touch screen. A signatory who finds this hard can be sent a signing link to use on their own device with their own assistive technology, or contact us and we will help.
- PDF documents
- Generated transfer note and invoice PDFs have a logical reading order but are not fully tagged. The same information is available as an accessible web page and CSV export. Ask us for an alternative format.
- Third-party content
- Payment pages are provided by Stripe and the map tiles by OpenStreetMap; we do not control their accessibility.
How we test
We run automated axe-core checks (WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 A and AA rules) against the public site and the main app screens: dashboard, schedule and route planner, transfer notes, clients, fleet, invoices, settings and the driver app. We fix issues in the shared components so the fix applies everywhere, and check keyboard and screen-reader use by hand on new features. Automated tools find only some problems, so we have not yet had an independent audit; one is planned.
Feedback and alternative formats
If you find a problem or need information in a different format (large print, accessible PDF, plain text), email hello@qwtn.co.uk or use the contact form. We aim to reply within five working days.
Enforcement
If you are not happy with how we respond, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).
