- Non-hazardous. Use a standard waste transfer note and keep it for 2 years.

- Recyclable: Clean wood waste is widely recyclable. WRA grading: Grade A (clean) recycling/animal bedding, B (industrial) panelboard, C (fuel) biomass energy, D (treated) hazardous
Handling: Treated/painted wood must be segregated — only Grades A-C can go to biomass
